Doing Our Part to Retain Our Best Talent
-
In support of our District's efforts to retain our best and brightest educators and staff, we are committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment, addressing systemic inequities, and promoting a sense of belonging for all educators.
Addressing Systemic Inequities:
We welcome opportunities to collaborate with other departments to identify and address systemic inequities that disproportionately impact certain groups of educators.
Supporting Mentoring and Induction Programs:
We are available to support schools to implement effective mentoring and induction programs that provide new and underrepresented educators with the support they need to succeed.
Fostering a Sense of Belonging:
We promote a sense of belonging and community among educators by organizing events and activities that celebrate inclusion.
Promoting Teacher Collaboration:
We promote teacher collaboration and professional learning communities, which can help educators feel supported and connected.
Improving School Leadership:
We welcome opportunities to collaborate with school leaders to improve their understanding of equity and inclusion, and to ensure that they are creating equitable and supportive school environments for all educators.
Advocating for Equitable Resource Allocation:
We will continue to advocate for equitable resource allocation, ensuring that all schools and classrooms have the resources they need to support educators and students.
