Communications Office

  •

The Providence Public School District believes that strong two-way communication is essential to creating an environment where students, families, staff, and community members feel valued and informed. Clear, respectful communication from the District makes it easier for all stakeholders to do their job, and that helps students thrive.

The communications team in the central office is responsible for all District-wide communications, including alerts, policy updates, media releases, the PPSD newsletter, and the District’s website and social media accounts, among other duties. The main office at each school is the center of communication between families and the individual school for matters in the building.

STUDENTS IN VIDEO AND STILL PHOTOGRAPHY

Local media often request information on student awards, honors, scholarships, and sports or club activities. The Providence Schools communications team also takes photographs or video in schools throughout the year to promote school activities and student/staff achievements for marketing and communication purposes.

You can find our media release form here in English or in Spanish.
