Committee for the Providence Public School Board, a position that aligns with Rhode Island's mandate requiring all school districts to establish such committees. In addition to his role on the school board, Night works as a Direct Care Provider for Seniors with Disabilities at Perspectives Corporation, demonstrating his dedication to supporting vulnerable populations. He is also actively involved in initiatives aimed at empowering refugee and immigrant communities, reflecting his passion for advocacy and youth empowerment.
Night Jean is a refugee advocate, poet, and a young champion at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). His life experiences and commitment to social justice have fueled his drive to advocate for marginalized communities and amplify the voices of those who are often overlooked.
Night is currently a senior at Rhode Island College, majoring in Public Administration with minors in Data Science and Computer Information Systems (CIS). His academic and professional journey is rooted in a strong commitment to community service and policy advocacy, particularly in education.
Night's personal experiences as a refugee advocate, his passion for youth empowerment, and his academic background all inform his approach to policy-making and community engagement.
