This summer, Providence Public Schools offer a number of academic and enrichment opportunities for families to engage our students and combat learning loss.
These programs, many of which are offered in a distance learning format, have been adapted to respond to the current COVID-19 health and safety guidance.
Our multi-week Summer Learning Programs offer a minimum of four hours a day of learning opportunities for students entering grades K-12. The majority follow a distance learning format, but some, such as the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club, offer hybrid programs and in-person options.
A collaboration with the Providence Community Libraries and the Providence Public Library, the Passport to Summer Learning is a great way to engage elementary students in regular reading over the summer. Download the passport or fill it in online to track your reading over the summer.
Thank you, and stay sharp this summer!
