Important Message to Parents with Adolescents Entering 7th Grade
Immunization Requirements for
All Adolescents Entering 7th Grade
In accordance with the Rhode Island Department of Health Rules and Regulations Pertaining to Immunization and Testing for Communicable Diseases (R23-1-IMM), all adolescents entering the 8th grade are required to have the following immunizations:
- One (1) dose of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine
- One (1) dose of TDAP Vaccine
- One (1) dose of Meningococcal Vaccine
- A recent Physical Exam
All adolescents entering 7th grade are required to be up-to-date on their immunizations at the start of the school year.
IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT FLU VACCINATION:
An annual Influenza (flu) vaccination is RECOMMENDED for all students.
