Luis Rodriguez

Luis Rodriguez is the Assistant Principal at Nathanael Greene Middle School. He has been working in education for 10 years, the last three in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, Luis worked with Hillsborough County Public Schools, and then worked with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in Cleveland, Ohio. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, he was the Manager of Multilingual Learners for Elementary Schools. This will be his first year as an Assistant Principal.

Luis earned his Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in writing from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. He received his Master's in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Luis earned certifications in Secondary Grades English Teacher, Grades 7-12; All Grades English to Speakers of Other Languages Teacher, Grades PK-12; Building Level Administrator PK-12.

Luis's vision for Nathanael Greene Middle School is to support in building a strong, collaborative, and inclusive learning community, where all members feel empowered to grow, lead, and become the best version of themselves they can be.
