Participated as a member of an Inpatient Treatment Team, and as a Unit Supervisor, etc. at Bradley Hospital (First Children's Psychiatric Hospital of its kind in the country) for 17 years.
Been employed as a School Social Worker in the Providence School Department for the last 23 years, applying my clinical skills to empower our students and parents so the students can reach their full potential. I serve once again as part of a Team of Qualified Professionals to assess and determine Special Education needs; provide individual counseling to support social, emotional, behavioral, and educational successes; Consult with teachers and administrators, and parents, and provide support to them as needed. Advocacy, referral, outreach and liaison to community services.
