The AfterZone gives middle school students access to almost 100 programs provided by 40 Providence organizations, teachers and community-based educators. Students can dive into existing interests or explore new ones. Each class is offered in a multi-week session, giving students time for deep learning and for the opportunity to build lasting relationships with the adults who guide them.
Sign up for the AfterZone and you could be learning to sail, playing rugby, choreographing hip hop dance routines, or learning how to use power tools to design things.
AfterZone programs are offered throughout the year—fall, winter, spring, and summer.
Transportation, snacks, and meals are all included. Some programs take place at one of the AfterZone’s schools, while others travel to off-site location.
