Description
This project will build a new, purpose-built school building for a new Lima/Stuart PK-8, including dual language programming, on the site of the former Gilbert Stuart Middle School. The future PK to Grade 8 school building will include separate areas for the youngest and oldest students within an accessible building with technology, safety, and classroom structures to support learning for all students.
Students Served
Approximately 1,000 students across Pre-K through 8, with four classrooms per grade (to match current grade structures)

Timeline
Currently planned for construction Fall 2025 for two years, to open Fall 2027.
Alfred Lima students will continue in their current building throughout construction and will not be affected. The site of the former Gilbert Stuart middle school has not been occupied since spring 2024.
