Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:50 am – 2:35 pm;

Friday: Early Dismissal: 1:10 pm

How the Schedule Works

The E3 Academy daily schedule will consist of five, 78 minute blocks that meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is an alternate schedule day when PLT and Advisory meet. On Fridays, all blocks are 44 minutes long – including our PLT/ College and Career Readiness class. Core academic classes meet every day however we employ a rotating schedule so the block or times the classes take place, changes daily. All classes can be either one or two semesters in length. Students will have one 30 minute lunch period.

In all classes a strong emphasis will be placed on subject specific and interdisciplinary communication, having students listen to, write about, and orally explain their reasoning in support of their results.

E Cubed Academy High School is a college preparatory high school where students prepare for college and/or the world of work. E³ Academy opened in September, 2004 as a small learning community within the Providence School Department. The Enrollment is between 380-400 students of culturally diverse backgrounds, the majority of whom are African-American and Hispanic. Students at E Cubed Academy demonstrate excellence in service to the community and working in personalized learning classrooms. For the 2018-2019 school year, E Cubed Academy will be using a rotating block schedule. The period in which a given class is held rotates according to the order which follows:
