Kelly Spaziano
Kelly Spaziano is the Assistant Principal at Young Woods Elementary School. She has been working in education for 32 years, all with the Providence Public School District (PPSD). She has been an Assistant Principal for the past 25 years, and, prior to that, was a second grade bilingual teacher.
She received her Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Elementary Education from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island, then received her Master's in Educational Leadership from there as well.
Kelly's vision for Young Woods Elementary School is to continue to take the school to new heights - both academically and linguistically. She is very excited to support the new Dual Language Program at Young Woods.

Dina Volpe
Dina Volpe is an Assistant Principal at Young Woods Elementary School. She's been working in the educational field for 20 years, the last 11 years with the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to working in the District, she worked as a teacher in New York City for nine years. This will be her first year as an Assistant Principal.
Dina earned her Bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Elementary Special Education from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. She also received her TESOL Certificate from there as well. She then went on to receive her Master's in both Elementary Education and Special Education from Touro College in New York, New York, and is a graduate of the Principal Residency Network.
Dina's vision for Young Woods Elementary School is to build strong relationships and create a supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to take intellectual risks and thrive.
