Mission & Vision

JSEC Goods mission is to address hunger needs for JSEC students and families, and to provide food every weekend, by offering non-perishable goods to those in need.

We have created a food pantry for the school because 87% of our students at JSEC receive free or reduced lunch.  This data shows that we need to address food insecurity in our community.

We believe that creating this food pantry at our school will help keep students focused, motivate students to do better academically, address attendance issues, give families hope and support, and foster equality  and community within our students.

Our vision is to make sure that no JSEC student comes to school hungry or goes to  bed hungry. JSEC Goods will sustain and grow throughout the years and will ensure that we serve meals for students and their families every weekend of the school year.
