The Office of English Learners has secured a new on-demand telephone interpretation service for you to use as needed during parent-teacher conferences. Lionbridge is ready and set up to provide telephonic interpretation services in over 350 different languages.
We recommend strategically using in-person translators for parent meetings whenever possible, since in-person translation is generally more effective than telephone translation. We hope that this new telephone service will allow you to better partner with families in their preferred language.
