Suzanne Da Silva

Suzanne Da Silva is the current Assistant Principal at Reservoir Avenue Elementary School. She has worked in education for over 20 years, serving in the Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cranston, and Providence School Districts as a tri-lingual urban educator. She has taken on many leadership roles such as a Coach, Multilingual Learner (MLL) Liaison, Board Member, and Student Advocate. She's been a part of the PPSD Leadership Cohort since July 2022.

Suzanne received her Bachelor's degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. She earned her Master's degree in Teaching from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island.

Suzanne's vision for Reservoir Avenue Elementary School is continuing to provide students with rigorous standards-based instruction that is rooted in equitable outcomes and represents the cultures of our community. She has been a fierce advocate for MLLs and their educational success. Suzanne believes that representation matters and honoring all learners has been her passion as an educator and will continue as Assistant Principal. Involving the stakeholders in Reservoir is her number one priority, the relationship between the school and the home is of utmost importance; building bridges rooted in trust and collaboration are key. She believes in being joyous, present, and visible in a positive student-centered school environment.
