What's New for the 2025-26 School Year
Kennedy Elementary Construction
Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, Robert F. Kennedy Elementary School will be under construction. Kennedy will be temporarily located at 480 Charles Street, Providence, RI 02904. In the coming years, Kennedy will reopen in a new, modern facility as a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 school.
All Kennedy students who live more than one mile away from 480 Charles Street will receive a bus pass in late August. Kennedy families with any questions about the arrangement for the 2025-26 school year should contact their school's office by calling (401) 456-9403.
Messer Elementary Construction
Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, Asa Messer Elementary School will be under construction. Messer will be temporarily located at 99 Kenyon Street, Providence, RI 02903. In the coming years, Asa Messer will reopen in a new, modern facility as a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 school.
All Messer students who live more than one mile away from 99 Kenyon Street will receive a bus pass in late August. Kennedy families with any questions about the arrangement for the 2025-26 school year should contact their school's office by calling (401) 456-9401.
Construction Continues at Kizirian and Fogarty
Construction continues at Harry Kizirian Elementary School and Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School. Kizirian is temporarily located at the Narducci Learning Center at 110 Paul Street, Providence, RI 02904. The Narducci Learning Center (formerly the Windmill Street school) was fully renovated and reopened in Fall 2023 for use as temporary space for schools under construction. Kizirian families with any questions about the arrangement for the 2025-26 school year should contact their school's office by calling (401) 456-9369.
Fogarty is temporarily located at 85 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02909. In Fall 2027, Mary Fogarty will reopen in a new, modern facility as a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 school. Fogarty families with any questions about the arrangement for the 2025-26 school year should contact their school's office by calling (401) 456-9381.
