    Dear Families,

Welcome to Grade 4-5, Room 3!  I am very excited to return to a special education classroom, after having worked in 4th grade general education for the last three years.  This will be my 8th year with the Providence School Department. I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2010 from Johnson and Wales University in special education and elementary education, and am currently working on earning my ESL certification through Roger Williams University.

I will provide shared classroom supplies for classroom use.  As for homework, I will provide a homework supply box with pencils, an eraser, a sharpener and crayons.  Please make sure that your child keeps this in a safe place. I also ask that you restock this box as needed.

    This our classroom wish list:

    • Tissues
    • Clorox Wipes
    • Zip lock bags, large and small
    • Paper towels
    • Snack items
      • Crackers (Goldfish, graham, animal crackers)
      • Pretzels
      • NO nut products, please!

I look forward to working with your child and you throughout this  upcoming school year! If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email me.  During the school year I will be utilizing Class Dojo and Kinvolved to share out information in a quick, expedient way.  That sign-up information will be sent home within the first week of school.

    Sincerely,
