Seal of Biliteracy

Click here for a Seal of Biliteracy video that can be shared with your students, parents, etc. to let them know why they should earn the Seal.
We will be using Avant Assessment for placement tests for Spanish, graduation credit tests, and proficiency testing for the Seal of Biliteracy and the Global Seal.
Civics Project Requirements for Graduation
Students are responsible for the following steps in order to fulfill the action civics project requirement for graduation:
- Work in groups of 3-4 to research and present a civic action topic of you and your group member’s choice
- Use the Generation Citizen Action Civics Project rubric to measure your progress on the project
- Complete the Civic Action Project Reflection detailing your experience as an active citizen.
- Submit a photograph of the tri-fold project in the Canvas assignment
Note: Successful project completion will be weighed as 20% of their Civics course grade. in Project-Based tasks. A student can successfully complete the Project but fail the Civics course and vice versa.
Teachers are responsible for completing the following:
- The Generation Action Civics Project rubric with the grade in Canvas.
- The Action Civics Project Reflection with the grade in Canvas.
- Lastly, enter successful project completion into Skyward.
