• Dear Providence Families,

At Providence Public Schools, our educators and staff are committed to creating engaging learning environments and meeting every student’s educational needs.

One way that we are accomplishing this is through personalized learning strategies that honor each student’s learning pace and style. We are investing in technology for our students and professional development for our educators to make this a reality in more and more of our schools. We are also committed to moving toward greater school-based decision-making, where each school community can help shape the educational experience of the students it serves. Lastly, we have launched a number of initiatives and partnerships – from dual language programs to mental health support – that address common barriers to student success and help us help children better focus on their education.

Educating children is not just the job of our schools. It is the job of the entire community. That is why Providence Public Schools has a number of programs to inform and assist the families of our students. We encourage you to click on the parent tab on the website to learn more about available services.

Thank you, and welcome to the new school year!
