Stimulus Town Halls

Providence Public Schools held a series of virtual town halls for staff, students and families to guide the District’s decision-making process for spending federal stimulus dollars.

Interim Superintendent Montañez was joined by Deputy Superintendent of Operations Zachary Scott and Deputy Superintendent of Academics Khechara Bradford to share the District’s current vision for spending, in alignment with the work of the Rhode Island Department of Education’s LEAP (Learning, Equity & Accelerated Pathways) Task Force. Surveys were shared with the community following the conclusion of each event.
