SCIENCE OLYMPIAD Science Olympiad is a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education, increasing male, female and minority interest in science, creating a technologically-literate workforce and providing recognition for outstanding achievement by both students and teachers. These goals are achieved by participating in Science Olympiad tournaments and non-competitive events, incorporating Science Olympiad into classroom curriculum and attending teacher training institutes. At Nathan Bishop, Science Olympiad is an after school club that meets once a week beginning October 26, 2011, to prepare students for a statewide competition at Rhode Island College. BEFORE SCHOOL MORNING LIBRARY TIME The library is open every morning for students from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. to check out books and work on their assignments and school related activities. To gain admittance to the library for this time period please see Mr. Lazzareschi in the cafeteria on the morning that you wish to come to the library. He will give you a pass for permission to come to the library. BEFORE SCHOOL MORNING LIBRARY TIME is a great opportunity for kids to check out books!
