YEAR BOOKS

During the month of February the Yearbook staff will be accepting Yearbook ads. Don’t forget to send a special note to your child (especially those graduating!)  or advertise your own business.  Ask family, friends or your favorite restaurants, hair salons, gift shops to sponsor an ad. Nathan Bishop supports the community and would love to see them advertised in our Yearbook.  The Yearbook Committee is also looking for a couple of parents to solicit ads in the community.  This is your chance to Volunteer, is this the job for you?

HOOPS FOR HEARTS/JUMP ROPE FOR HEARTS

Feb. 14th and 15th during gym classes
The P.E Dept is organizing a Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Students will BE helping to raise money for The American Heart Association and their fight against heart disease. Our goal is to raise 1,000 dollars. If any parents have businesses that could donate prizes for our top student winners that would be great. Students will be receiving donation packets sometime next week.  Parents just a reminder: We do not want students to seek donations door to door!

NEXT PTO MEETING FEBRUARY 29th, 2012

Find out what’s going on at Nathan Bishop. Upcoming events, in school programs, what we’ve done this year. Have any ideas, suggestions? Let’s hear ‘em! Don’t forget to send in all those old electronic recyclables! Cell phones  Ink Cartridges and other electronics

Teachers are using ENGRADE to record assignments, homework, tests and grades.

Every Student has been given log on information.  Contact any of your child’s teachers for more information.

 

 T Shirts and Sweatshirts are available!

Many orders came in without payment; if you did not send payment please do so with students name and advisory in an envelope addressed “PTO”.

We will be contacting as many people as possible this week for incomplete orders (no size or color)or payments.

 

 

Register your Stop and Shop card online, and Nathan Bishop can start raising money!  Get as many of your friends and relatives as possible to register.  Register at www.stopandshop.com/aplus. Every time a registered Stop and Shop card is used between now and March, we will raise money to support our school.  This program only  runs until March, 2012...so STOP AT STOP AND SHOP AND START SHOPPING!! 

 

 

Donate AAA Batteries

The school is looking for donations of AAA batteries for the school calculators.

Please send them in or drop them off in the front office.
