School Mission
Webster Ave Elementary School will prepare students to achieve high educational standards and become lifelong learners and productive members of society. Our goals are:

  • Improve Reading Comprehension
  • Improve Writing
  • Improve Mathematical Problem Solving
  • Improve parent and Community Involvement
  • Create a Safe, Caring and Orderly Environment

SIT Team
The School Improvement Team is the governing body of the school charged with improving student achievement through data-based decision making. This is a school-wide team that promotes teaching and learning. 

PBIS
The Positive Behavioral Intervention System is a school-wide program to decrease office referrals and increase instructional time in the classrooms. School staff and personnel use common language to teach the three school-wide behavioral expectations: Responsible, Respectful, and Safe. Implementation of this grant-based program started in the fall of 2007. For information about this statewide initiative please go to www.ripbis.org.

We have the following expectations of our students at Webster Ave Elementary School: 

Be Responsible
Follow all directions.
Hand in their work on time.
Take care of all school property.
Keep all candy, gum, and toys at home.

Be Respectful
Zero(0) volume when others are speaking.
Raise your hand to speak.
Speak kindly to others.
Respect others' property.
Be honest at all times.

Be Safe
Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
Always walk in the classroom and when passing.
