Parent and Community Involvement
We are working on increasing Parent and Community engagement by establishing: monthly parent meetings, a parent association, parent liaison and a family center. We are trying to improve parent and public engagement by creating opportunities for families to become more engrossed in the work at PAIS, drawing on the international experience and heritage of our families.
OUR SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT TEAM is open to parents and students. Meetings are held one Friday per month for up to two hours between 1:05 and 3:00 pm. Please inquire in the school’s main office if you are a student, parent, or community member who is interested on serving on this team devoted to school improvement issues.
PARENT, TEACHER, STUDENT ORGANIZATION (PTSO) Students work with parents to help to move the school by improving communication between home and school and increase parent interest and involvement.
STUDENT INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY Open to students of all grade levels, this group of students meets regularly with school staff, community partners, parents, and administrations to develop, implement, best practices that will help the school to reach it’s vision.
