Mrs. Brasil's class, G38A, Has once again taken on the MPHS Cafe. The Cafe is located in the teachers cafeteria on the ground floor. The hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and during all three lunches. The students not only brew delicious coffee but sell cookies, muffins and more to the famished teachers and staff in need of a sweet pick me up.
The students' art work also adorns the walls of the cafe. The young entrepreneurs are Kenneth Norman, John Noonan-Silva, William Fernandes, Christian Hernandez, Jerry D'Agostino, Lance Jones and Michael Eddy. John Zottola and Alfred Yahweh also assist the students. Make every Effort to visit the cafe`. You will be glad you did.
The Cafe' was set up in December 2006 to develop vocational opportunities for students in the Autism Classroom. Proceeds will go towards field trips and needed materials for the classroom. |
