Mt. Pleasant High School students who are enrolled in the Twin Tracks/Dual Enrollment program through Rhode Island College are well on their way to graduation. Students meet for one and a half hours per day twice a week to do college-level work, research and prepare for college. Students will spend the first semester of this school year learning about college readiness. This includes learning study skills, organizational habits, and what to expect when they are on campus. Students will receive three college credits for the Fall semester.
The second half of this school year will be spent on the Rhode Island College (RIC) campus where Mt. Pleasant students will be taking courses for college credit. Upon completion of the dual enrollment program, students will have up to 12 additional credits toward their Bachelor’s degree from RIC, for a total of 15 credits. |
