BEHAVIOR SUPPORT TEAM |
“Little by little does the trick”. Abraham Lincoln
The Behavior Support Team (B.S.T.) is comprised of teachers, parents, students and administrators that meet monthly to discuss students’ behavior that is disruptive or distract others from achieving high academic standards. The BST plans events each month to reward and motivate all students to perform to the best of their abilities. Greene Bucks are used to recognize positive student behavior and to gain entrance into BST activities. Discipline data is examined at each meeting and used to guide our efforts and monitor our effectiveness in meeting our goals. Meeting minutes are distributed to all staff and monthly updates are provided to the SIT team. Staff members are encouraged to join us at our meetings or leave us notes in the suggestion box (located in the main office) if it’s more convenient. We actively solicit participation/suggestions from parents. Parents are always welcome to be chaperones at every BST event. Please see our school calendar with tentative dates. For additional information, please feel free to see any BST members or call us at 456-9347.
