Student Council Information

The 4th and 5th graders at Laurel Hill Elementary School organized a Student Council this year under the direction of Mrs. Celio (grade 5) and Mrs. Sangermano (grade 4). Together these teachers have directed and supported the homeroom represenitives as they organized school wide activities.

The Student Council Represenitives acted as guides and greeters during the Laurel Hill Elementary School Open House Night. They showed parents around the building, pointing out the Library, gym and various classrooms. They were a great help to parents and faculty alike.

The Great Pumpkin arrived at Laurel Hill Elementary School oranized by the Student Council and Mrs. Celio. The students were able to learn about growing prize pumpkins.

Grandparents Day was celebrated at school on November 24, 2004. Student Council invited all grandparents of students in the building to come to school for the morning. Grandparents were able to spend time in the classroom working with their grandchild. What a wonderful morning!

January 12th to the 14th the Student Council held a bake sale to raise money for the 4th and 5th grade upcoming field trip to Veteran's Auditorium. Parents and faculty members bakes treats that were sold during all lunches. Great job!
