Key To King
This is our school phone directory so students can keep in contact with friends at school. It also raises money for the school by posting advertisements from local businesses which sponsor our school.

5th Grade Mosaic Project
This is a yearly fifth grade project creating a wall mosaic at the school with local artist Jess Regalson. Mr. Ian Thompson will be donating the frame which will be finished in March. Then students will be able to start their mosaic. First grade students will help with this project also.

Field Day
Field Day is a fun 'end of the year' day where students get to participate in outdoor physical activities. This year we will have the volunteer organization City Year help with the event. All twenty-six of the City Year volunteers will be on hand to supervise the activities for that day. Parents will still be needed to help a bit (but they may get more of an opportunity to watch this year). So plan to take some time off from work to come watch the kids perform all kinds of fun challenges. Typically for this day, grades K-2 are in the morning session, and grades 3-5 are in the afternoon session. If it rains, a shortened version of Field Day will be held in the gym.

Harvest Fest 2007

The Harvest Fair/Open House was a huge success in bringing families into the school for a nice community fall event. Thank you to our parents who helped for all your hard work. Thank you to Roberta Groch on all her effort in organizing this event.

Catalog Sale A BIG Success!!

We had a very successful catalog sale which helped us raise over $6000.00. Six students won great prizes. Ms. Sullivan's third grade was the highest-selling classroom. Thank you to all the families that participated. The money raised from this goes toward school enrichment programs for our children.

Book Fair

Thank you to Brett Summers for organizing the annual Scholastic Book Fair. This event is a great complement to the Parent-Teacher conferences the school has every year and it raises money towards activities for the students. Also, thank you to parents and teachers who donated new and used books to the Book Fair. Every child went home with a free book!!

MLK Celebration & Pot Luck Dinner

This annual event always brings in a crowd. Everyone brings a main dish and we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the school's community.
