Site-based Managed School
Vartan Gregorian is one of two site-based managed elementary schools in Providence. This means that the principal, teachers, staff and parents work together to make decisions about how the school is run. Additionally, principals and teachers at site-based managed schools have some authority to hire their own teachers, who must commit to professional development as the vehicle for progress in teaching and learning.
