Description of Bailey Buddies Program |
| Select students at Bailey Elementary have the privledge of serving as role models for their peers. These students, specifically fifth-graders, undergo an interview with our administrator, require positive recommendations from their classroom teachers, and must show exemplary behavior to be considered for this position. Once made a Bailey Buddy, these students perform jobs such as selling ice cream at all lunches, escorting visitors on days of assemblies, peer-tutoring, assisting teachers with various classroom responsibilities, and announcing the daily Pledge and Word of the Week over the intercom. Each year, approximately ten candidates are selected as new Buddies. This is an honor held in high esteem with these students and one that younger students strive to achieve one day! |

Students here at Bailey have put together a list of helpful websites to assist kids with their homework, projects, or to just have fun. Each site has been approved by our administrator and used in our classrooms to correlate with instruction. Enjoy!
