Eligibility Requirements for Transportation

The request for transportation must be submitted at the school or the placement office.
Elementary School Level (grades k-6)
If a student lives more than one mile away from the school, the
student is entitled to transportation.
Middle School Level (grades 7-8)
If a student lives more than one and a half miles away from the school, the student is entitled to transportation.
High School Level (grades 9-12)
If a student lives more than three miles away from the school, the student is entitled to transportation.
NOTE: the mileage is calculated from the student’s front door to the school.
Address Changes:
All address changes must be completed at either the school or the placement office.
