Application Process

Teaching and Substitute Application Requirements

Teaching and Substitute applications must include the following:
• State of Rhode Island teaching certification (Please call RIDE @ 222-4600)
• Copy of Praxis or National Teaching Exam (Whichever has been taken)
• Resume
• Three (3) current letters of reference
• Original transcripts
• Mantoux (PPD) skin test results (tuberculosis) (Verification from Physician is acceptable)
• Hepititis vaccine (Can be obtained after being hired)

At the time of the interview you must bring the following:

• Current Drivers License or Passport
• Social Security Card

After you have been offered a job you will need to obtain an original state and national criminal records check through the Attorney General’s Office, Rhode Island State Police or local police department where you reside. You will not be hired until this document is received.
