Elementary Advanced Academic Program Flynn & Forgarty Elementary Schools have a pull-out Advanced Academic Component for students in grades 3 to 5. Students at these schools are identified by their performance on the SAT Reading First Scores, SAT10 Scores, classroom performance, and teacher recommendation.

My child attends a Providence Public School. 1. The School Department will notify you by mail if your child qualifies for the Advanced Academic Program, based upon his or her scores on previously administered tests (SAT 10 and/or NECAP). With this notification, you will receive a program application and three required forms that are part of the application packet. 2. Fill out the application, forms, and grades for three years by mail or by hand to the Office of Advanced Academic Programs by the deadline on October 17, 2008.
