Providence Schools is excited to implement Phase II of the Criterion-Based Hiring system. For the 2010-11 school year, vacant teaching positions will be filled in a mutual consent-driven interview process, with hiring decisions made by school-based interview teams system-wide.

Also new for 2010-11 is PATS, the Providence Applicant Tracking System, which allows for greater efficiency and personalization in the job application and interview processes. Applicants can create a profile and set up an agent to inform them of openings of interest. Please check PATS frequently, as it will continually be updated in the next few months.

With this Criterion-Based Hiring system comes great opportunity for teachers and schools to match the best qualified candidates to the most appropriate positions. Below, for your information, are links to several documents with further information.

Please check back to this site, as it will continually be updated with new information and links as we proceed with our new system.
